Peace, Unity, Security, Prosperity

Salva Kiir

Four pillars, one vision

A peaceful, united, secure and prosperous South Sudan, where independence delivers safety, food on every table and opportunity for every citizen.

Pillar 01

Peace

Peace is the foundation of everything South Sudan wants to achieve. The President’s first commitment is to finish what the Revitalised Peace Agreement started and make sure war never returns.

  • Fully implement the 2018 Revitalised Peace Agreement
  • Keep an open hand to all opposition groups for an inclusive, lasting peace
  • Settle political differences through dialogue, not the gun
  • Support reconciliation and healing in communities affected by conflict

Pillar 02

Unity

Independence was won together and can only be fulfilled together. The campaign calls on every South Sudanese to rise in unity as one nation of many peoples.

  • National reconciliation across every state and community
  • Respect for every culture and celebration of our shared heritage
  • Equal opportunity and fair representation for every state and community
  • Give young people a central role in building the nation

Pillar 03

Security

Every citizen deserves to live, farm and trade without fear. A secure country is one where the state protects people wherever they live.

  • Complete the unification of the national armed forces
  • Secure communities and protect every citizen, regardless of where they live
  • Remove illegal checkpoints that block trade and travel
  • Safer roads so goods, farmers and families can move freely

Pillar 04

Prosperity

South Sudan can feed itself and grow. The President has made agriculture the government’s first priority and wants oil revenue invested in production, so the economy serves every citizen.

  • Agriculture first: expand support to farmers and raise crop yields
  • Invest oil revenue in agriculture and productive sectors, not consumption
  • Faster road building and completion of key routes such as Juba–Torit–Kapoeta–Nadapal
  • More affordable electricity through new solar plants and thousands of new connections
  • Economic reforms that ease the cost of living, and better education for every child
